•For Informal / Small meetings > consecutive interpreting where the interpreter waits for a suitable break to deliver the speech in the target language. This is suitable for one-on-one meetings, depositions, court hearings.
•For Large conferences > simultaneous interpreting requires a minimum of 2 interpreters who are expected to relay the translation simultaneously whilst still listening to the next sentence. Such a demanding task will usually involve 2 interpreters and headphones/audio equipment typically used at large conferences, press launches.
•For Face to face Meeting > consecutive or whispering interpreting is delivered whispering directly into the interlocutor’s ear.
•When face to face meeting is non essential > phone interpreting is a cost effective way of delivering interpreting service when the parties involved are in different locations, time is crucial and budget is tight.
